    I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Wesley Wright's mlb.com picture is goofy. Do you think they get a second shot at it next year?

    I guess his benching in game 2 of the Cubs series might have fired up Kaz...that and seeing Kepp get 4 hits!

    This sucks...so close and another tough one to take! Just no offense and the bullpen is worn down especially Arias!

    Well after Wensday's game we brought up Norris, after Thursday's game we released Russ...maybe after tonight something else happens that can make up for the disappointment.

    Holliday's raking with the Cards. He made up for a couple of fielding errors by smacking that ball into right field for a RBI in the 8th.

    BTW, interesting tidbit on Holliday...

    My pledge brother's cousins with Holliday, and he says the guy doesn't say a word. Spends the holidays with him and goes on the occasional hunting trip with him and the boys in the offseason, and he says he's the shyest person he knows. Borderline mute. No joke.

    But, according to my buddy, words would not do his wife justice. She's apparently off the charts. No surprise there, though.
