Now that i think about it... IF T-MAC can play at a high level this year, i think we can definitely make some noise. This roster has a lot more talent and athleticism than the 2005 team that took the Mavs to 7 games. This team has more quickness by plugging in Ariza. The intangibles that Ron Ron brought were toughness and ability to score; but the best thing he brought was his STEVIE FRANCHISE IMPRESSION (dribble for 17+ seconds, JACK UP SHOT or TURNOVER)

    props to clutch.

man BRUTAL start. we just need to tread water to start and i can forsee a slow start (we've started slow every year except for last year anyways for the most part recently) and do our thing mostly in the 2nd half.

man, seeing the blazers AND lakers 2x each in the first 2 weeks is  .

ron won't have to wait too soon to see us again.

it would be nice for tracy to be ready by season's start.

Remember that Artest always tries to do too much against his former teams, so this may be a good thing....Ron dribbling down to 3 seconds on the clock, kobe is furious :D

The only date that matters for the Rockets next season is June 24, 2010, at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden.

With the first pick in the 2010 NBA Draft the Houston Rockets select John Wall out of the University of Kentucky

Call me crazy but I think If we get Biendris, I think we can Get to the Finals. All the pieces are there. Bieidris just provides that shot blocker and rebounder we've been Craving for. It all depends on Tracy McGrady.

For the last few seasons, it seems like the Rockets always started the season with tough schedule and more road games than home games. It always seems like the NBA is trying to screw the Rockets fast!

    It's either 3 or 4 for non-division teams.

I love our team and all, but given that we two players who will have to learn to be no.1 option on an nba team, 1 player new to our team, 2 rookies new to nba games (including dorsey here), and 1 player new to the u.s. & nba basketball, I have a hard time picking out 15 wins before Jan 9th...and if that is the case, I have a hard time believing we will be in the playoffs.

Thanks a bunch Clutch. The game at Chicago is finally at a pretty accessible date for me so I hope I can go to that.

I wonder how many national tv games we will get this year...it might be even lower now since we don't have a lot of household names on the roster right now

I think the league should and try to lessen the back to back games and the 3 games in 4 nights scenarios. Start training camp by mid September and start the season by mid October.

You are absolutely correct on that point.
