Stevie may be the only player in the league who would not want a player like Ming. Definitely the only player beside Quitten to be so selfish and disrespectful to repeatedly make an outcry over it. It seems that Stevie is more concerned about improving his game/statistics than he is with the Rockets becoming a better team on the whole. If so, then Stevie needs ask for a trade, because while the Rockets become a better overall team with Ming, his personal statistics may suffer.

Hmm...then why in the HELL do you think Rudy T. and CD went through all this to get him?? They know he will contribute to this team....they don't need to hear Steve "Whining Asswipe" Francis mouth off his crap....instead, he should be happy of getting a quality player that can clog that middle. Or worst get Odom and Olawakandi, never really get anywhere due to Shaq, Steve signs extention and we can not get that much better after 5 years and back to rebuilding. Both ways it is a risk, but with Ming, it is much more likely we can win something. Plus MIng more than likely will attract all-star quality players to come to Houston(forward). Plus, Houston will be able to pay these players with all the extra money that Ming brings in. With one of the best back courts in the league and now a pure center, with a league full of all-star PF wanting to play in front of a real center. One of them is likely to come over and maybe not for an arm and a leg. We just have to have a little more patience, and good things will COUNTINE to happen.
Whats say we trade the #1 for Odom. Odom, Mobley and Francis become best buddies. Odom gets caught smoking the wacky tobacky. Odom goes bye bye for a long time. Troy: Out of respect for Rudy and Cd, Stevie should shut his piehole. He can voice his concerns to them behind close doors. are you joking me? although i highly doubt we'd be able to get both odom and kandi we would easily be one of the best teams in the west. we wouldnt be rebuilding we'd be in the playoffs. with ming we wont be winning anything for atleast 3-4 years and more depending on how long it takes for him to get good and thats if he gets good. how is ming going to attract other players to houston? if anything i think players wouldnt want to come to houston and stevie will probably end up leaving. we dont need a PF we've got griff. that was one of the worst posts ive ever read.
theres no way we'd trade the #1 for odom straight up and im pretty sure if he gets caught smokin again its not a year suspension. if the rockets take ming and he doesnt pan out and we dont make the playoffs im guessin stevie is gone. thats worse then losing jus odom. what did we trade vancoover for? lol, francis is an all-star point guard and he should be allowed to have an opinion.
