Do you think Berkman can do it?

    Man... Berkman is blowing up! He is leading the league in rbi's, and near home run leader. His defense is better than most expected and his future is so bright. He is the new "B" man! ...unfortunately he is probably the lone bright spot for the Astros...

    ...Can he do it, if you know what I mean?

    No, I see him hitting many more homeruns but not more than Sammy. Not this year.

    I think his pace will slow a bit, but still be MVP numbers. 45-55 is the range I see him finishing in, while Sammy will probably get low 60's. Later in the season i see Lance sacrificing a bit of pop for a better average.

    That's what i'm talking about:...contending for the MVP.

    I realize the logic that a Bonds or someone being on a more winning team, but he should still be up there.

    I thought you were talking about the Triple Crown. I think hes got a great shot at the triple crown next year. This year, I think hes got a legitament shot at the MVP.
