Why? If he's physically ready, nothing will substitute playing in actual games. McGrady's got a lot of work to do to repair his image, even if he doesn't stay in Houston. Being ready by the start of training camp would go a long way.
Image is the least of his worries. Its his basketball talent that He should be worried about. Can He come back at full strength our just a shell of his former self? ( Basketball wise )
If he makes it back in time for training camp I say good on ya tmac!! It seems hes trying really hard to get back in shape and I cant wait to see him play again! I think everyone should get behind him, show him support and let him know hes still needed in houston
I am a big TMac fan, but even now, I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm in the, "let's just see how it plays out" mode. Ever since we started the Yao and McGrady era here, it's getting hyped for the season, then let down when one or both go down. So now, I'm just going to wait and see how things play out. Hope for the best, prepare for the...you know. I am pulling for everyone though. Tracy to come back in tip top form, and for our other players to have even larger breakout years!
agreed when Tmac become Michael Vick some of you're way to sensitive. Put the ball in the hold I could careless about his allegedly tarnished image.
On third glance I notice a few other things wrong with this picture.. 1. what is luther head still doing around NBA players 2. Why does TMAC's trainer look like Bullet Tooth Tony from "Snatch" 3. And it's funny to see TMAC with Kobe Bryant pictures in the background. Because he jocks the hell out of him and he'll never even touch him. Even though he wouldn't mind giving Kobe a Rub and Tug.. 4. What are those Horrible images he's drawn on his Chest?? Lol..
Why do I have this feeling he will be ready by training camp? It would be just like the media to exaggerate anyone's injury.
I feel the same way, but I hope he's not rushing it. If he even slightly hesitates about it after coming back I think I might blow a gasket.
