For Shawn Kemp not to make this list is blasphemy... the whole list was terrible... Vince Carter over Fredric Weis... Greatest Dunk Of All Time...
this is already on another thread, but whatever its cool...on that note....stro-show let it begin..... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_GiLII8vw4A&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_GiLII8vw4A&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mc6X-p_PqFk&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mc6X-p_PqFk&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tkqAIR9jMVo&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tkqAIR9jMVo&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
That might be the worst list of anything of all time. No Vince Carter over Weiss. No Baron Davis over AK47. No this,
Number 3 object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8w_1ZEk4mds&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8w_1ZEk4mds&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Number 2 <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AKOCy9R-h2A&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AKOCy9R-h2A&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Number 1 <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XMrPjl-927Q&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XMrPjl-927Q&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> There is my top 3.
It is a bad list, but you can see how they came up with it. Here is their criteria: 1) The guy getting dunked on matters, Hakeem getting dunked on is better than Bradley because it's so rare and Hakeem was such a great defensive player. You can see that every single victim on the list is a great defensive player except Barkley and Grant. 2) Size matters, most of the dunks are by a small guy over a big guy. 3) Star power matters, it seems like if the dunker and the victim are both stars, that raised the level of the dunk. 4) Timing matters: the list is heavily weighted to recent dunks, hence the Kobe dunk on Howard making #2 even though it came in a regular season game and no one remembers it (either that or Nike paid them to put Kobe and Lebron 1 & 2). I liked the list with the exception of 1 and 2, the rest of the list were memorable moments in NBA history and I could immediately identify when and where it happened, I'd never seen 1 or 2 before.
Half of these aren't even posters. To me, a great poster will be where someone dunks on a shot blocker. Not someone who is taking a charge, not someone who is rotating late and doesn't even rise, not someone who is running backwards on a fast break. Horrible list.

Vince Carter's dunk on Mourning was crazy. Starks should've been higher. Lebron's NO:1 dunk should've maybe been 9 or 10
That list is pathetic. Where are Kemp and VC? Sportscenter's extremely over the top, and cheesier than ever these days. They feel the need to do in-depth coverage on any topic, resulting in paralysis through over analysis. They need to focus strictly on the highlights. Plus, they can't seem to hop off of LeBron. Get's old.
I think the list was pretty good except for numbers 1,2, and 6. That VC dunk over Mourning was amazing.
