Sell, I just can't see the roster as is making the playoffs.

Buy or sell: Someone on the Rockets will have a 40 point game this year,

Buy. Rockets have always been a gritty team and have players on a mission with nothing to lose. Even without a superstar, their role players, vets and coaching always pull the chemistry together.

Buy or Sell. Tmac finishes completes rehab and pulls the team through the first round.

Huh? I don't think Felton is better than Brooks. He's just shot-happy (even with his less than stellar shot) and on a bad team, which is why he averages more points than AB. Lowry is more savvy than Augustin at this point, and IMO a better player. Our combo is better than theirs, and I don't think I'm being biased.

Buy: I don't think McGrady is going anywhere this season unless he plays well and someone drinks his koolaid. Unlikely.

BUY OR SELL: Brooks averages over 7 assists a game in the new up-tempo system

buy: he is going to be given the leader role and i think he will flourish as he did in the playoffs, he will be making the passes and we have more shooters now, so buy.

buy or sell: rockets get a top 5 pick in the lottery next season.

Sell. To get a top 5 pick you either be a bottom 5 team and pray no team lower than you are draft the lottery, or be a bottom 14 team and draft the lottery. The first case scenario is unlikely because despite the lost of Yao, this rockets team still got a plenty of talent to be bottom 5. The second scenario could happen but the max chance is only 6.3%.

Buy or Sell: Houston land a big name free agent in the summer of 2010, please consider the economic impacts.

Sell: The LeBron's Wade's Amare all those players are going to stay with their current teams. All this talking about 2010 is basically just hype. Look forward to everyone basically staying put. Even if one or 2 doesn't I don't see them coming to Houston.

Buy or Sell:: Rockets 3 year streak of winning 50+ games comes to an end this year

Buy, too many names to count in the Summer 10 Free Agent Lotto. What's considered a big name?

Buy or Sell: Budinger posterizes someone.

Buy or Sell: 1 of the rox making it for the All-Stars Game.

buy: i think ariza is the only one that has wat is takes to make it. there arent that many sf in the western conference, and i think if ariza follows adelmans offense he well compete against amar'e for that spot.

i mean there are so many pf and c that scola wont have a chance, then point guards and shooting guards, ab wont be able too either.

buy or sell: we will take the season series against san antonio this year.

Geez someone's being a negative nancy...this is one of the more "fun" threads we've had in a while. I have to agree with points 2-4 however.

    Are you kidding me?!

So you're saying that Ariza will beat out Melo, RJ, Kevin Durant, Josh Howard, etc. That's crazy.

I think the best chance is AB and he has to beat out CP3 and Deron Williams for that, will be tough.

Ok, in the East RJ was a borderline All Star competeing with the likes of PP and T Mac at one point. (others can't remember off top)

Howard has been there, done that.

Melo is an All Star and KD is becoming one rapidly, he should be voted in this year. IMO

Buy. NBA Players love our Organization. We will have the money & the talent. A top-tier free agent wants to get paid and win a ring & everyone knows Les will take the chance & spend the $. Then of course there is Morey. Done Deal.

Buy or Sell: Rockets will be top 5 in the league this year for Fast Break Points.

Sell. There's a difference between wanting to run, and actually being good at it.
Buy or sell: The Rockets' starting center on opening night isn't on the roster yet.

Buy, we will score a lot, I don't think defense will be our focus anymore.

buy or sell: Joey Dorsey averages at least 6 rebounds a game.
