Jeff, a quick translation of that article... Nothing is final yet, negotiations are close, and hopefully there will be an agreement reached soon. However, the article did mention that Ming injured his hip in the last few days. He's not attending normal workouts, and right now is just taking it easy. Some more tidbits for you guys, not from article, but things I've heard...CBA does not want Ming to come to NY. They need an excuse, and their excuse is that there is an eastern european team that is coming to play a friendly game in China. Because of that, he can't leave.
The part about Pakistan confused me. I normally wouldn't care, but I have many Pakistani friends and have also been to Pakistan. I also visited China at the Khunjerab pass and wondered maybe if that border meant something. Just looking for a little more info. Thanks.
