I hope I do this link correctly.

This is an interview I heard today with Scott Layden. He spoke about the draft and Yao and any moving up or down that they are thinking about doing. I have been listening to this program for 12 years and the hosts are the bomb, IMHO.

Of course, this interview is for open minded, non conspiracy seeking individuals. Thanks.

And as Clutch would say when Rocket Radio was free: "You need Real Player to listen."

    So...enjoy.

Umm...what did he say? I refuse to install realplayer on my system. Wish that program would just die, or at least they stop including spyware, bloat, and making it near impossible to remove completely.

    Thanks for the link Almu.

If you want to hear his thoughts on Ming, jump ahead to the 6 minute mark.

He basically had very positive things to say about the kid. They had scouted him pretty heavily before the lottery, said he was very skilled and should be a very good player in the league. When the comparison was drawn to Rik Smits, his opinion is that Ming will exceed Smits' level.

I found this interesting because, although it's not groundbreaking observations, he was not at all ambivalent about his positive impressions of Ming. And this is a guy that has seen him play, scouted him as a prospect, and has nothing to gain by pumping him up.
