Hard to believe that it would happen. If so at what cost? Another draft pick and Hayes or Cook will do but I think it would have to involve Battier or Landry. Hope Morey can pull of another Artest trade where the team did not give up that much to obtain a player.

It would be interesting, but he is a long way from a finished product...still if the team did not give up too much....why not?

Are we allowed to trade our 1st rounder as a result of the consecutive picks rule.

Didn't we ship our 2011 1st (tho conditional) to Sacramento in the Ron deal? How does conditional picks affect the consecutive picks rule? Do we have any other 1st rounders in the next 2 years?

 

I really hope our 1st for this upcoming draft is not involved if it is true (which is a huge if). But I am guessing it would have to be if Memphis is trading the 2nd overall pick (which I doubt they will tho they do have 2 bigs in Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph so you never know)

 

If it's true, it would be nice for the Rockets to get some nice big prospects.

 

We wouldn't be able to trade our 2010 1st round pick until next year's draft according to the rule.

 

Depends at the price. TMac would make alot of sense for Memphis as they know they are not winning and need superstars to fill their seats. But if giving up TMac means taking back horrible contracts (like Jaric's) to lose capspace next offseason, then no thanks.
