Odom is being shopped for Eric Snow. That says to me . . .we can have our Ming and Steve's Odom too. [Why Clippers would try to help us. . i don't know] Odom for #15, 1st rounder in 2005, and Moochie, collier [who backs up Kandi man?, or *gulp* KT [Who backs up Brand?] Or Langi or whatever beyond [WALT S&T, WILLIS S&T] Francis, Cuttino, Griffen, Mo Tay [because he cannot go back to clipper land] Rocket River So we can be happy. . . Rudy can be happy Francis can be happy
RR...supposedly (and I read this about 2 minutes ago), Philly and LA totally denied that the Odom-Snow rtade was discussed. If they are lieing..then I agree that it wouldnt take much more than the 15 and a player or 2.
If this is true (and even though they're apparently denying it, it could just mean the deal has fallen through, or one of them pulled out), I'd trade the #15 pick and something else (a throw in player or the #2 pick) for Odom. If the Rockets could come out of the draft with Ming and Odom that's easily an A+++ draft, makes everybody happy, and makes this a multi-dimensional club and a playoff caliber club.
the question for us is: HOW MUCH IS ODOM WORTH . . in general. What do you think the BEST deal that clippers can get for Odom? I doubt anyone will trade a FRANCHISE player for him. What does the Clippers need besides TIME? What are the Clippers concern? 1. Losing Kandi Man - ENTER CATO as his back up 2. PG - Can't help them here. . . possible facilitate a 3 way Send Crawford to Clippers - Odom to us - KT to chicago Send Bobby JAckson to Clippers - KT/Willis to Sac - Odom to us What else do the Clippers have a concern about. LEt's see what we can do to help them .. or let them THINK we helping them Rocket RIver
Forget the 3 way...let's just to this: Rockets send: KT Willis #15 Sacramento sends: Bobby Jackson Turkoglu #28 trade accepted by RealGM. I think it would make both teams better.
the kings and bulls both would do those three ways, the bulls love jamal crawford he has a ton of potential if eh stays healthy he can backup jay williams and play sg too, the kings wont trade bobby jackson for just kt or wills or both of them together he is a huge part of their offense and is hands down the best backup pg in the league also kevin willis is over the hilll i dont think anyone is gunna sign him
Willis is a free agent and there would be no need for the Kings to do this. They are trying to dump salary to resign Bibby. And because of this, I too would doubt them trading their back up point guard.
Last night there were alot of people calling 610 saying it was a rumor where Dallas would send Finley to G.S. for the #3 and Gilbert Arenas and Dallas would draft either Dunleavy or the kid from Brazil.
OK RR time to set the record straight... we have this 19-year old on our team with LOTS of potential.. he goes by the name of: Eddie Griffin Sorry I'm just tired of people mispelling his name.. not that hard..
That would destroy the Kings bench. I love the trade because Im a Rocket fan like you but that wouldn't help the Kings at all.
No, Trade declined. RealGM's program has a flaw. It allows you to trade restricted FA's when it can not be done in reality until after July 17th. Willis is a restricted FA and I am not sure what Bird Rights the Rockets have. In any event, Willis' contract expires July 1 and he can not be involved in a draft day trade. Therefore, if the Rockets and Kings pick for each other and the Bulls, Wiz, or Clipps outbid Houston for Willis, the Rockets and Kings are both stuck with the draft choices. Remember that RealGm allows you to trade restricted FA's by matching last seasons salaries but it is not possible to draft day trade restricted FA's in RealLIFE.
