Yea...Instead we should bring in a guy that has self-control problems when it comes to illegal drugs...that won't disrupt the team at all.

TroyBaros: Do you still feel Glen Rice is going to be a big factor in the rise of the 2002-2003 Rockets? I have read that he is committed to a return to his old form, perhaps retiring in a blaze of Rocket glory at the end of 2004.

Is Cato doing anything this summer to help his cause? How do you feel Eddie is going to fit in? Finally, will you (Steve) play with Ming -- really give him a chance as a teammate -- if he is drafted?

I say that if yao goes #1 and can play the whole season, plus steve signs a contract THIS summer, then TroyBaros should be permanatly banned from the bbs.

That would give him more time to hang with his peeps, Steve and Cat. Troy is gay and talks out of his a**.

Damn....I missed this thread until just now.

Nice to see that Troy is back to being his lovable self again.

Dude is great at making enemies to say the least.

Hey everybody, I got an idea!!!

It's called "How You Can Be an Insider for the Rockets Just Like TroyBaros!!"

    1) Make up stuff and pull it out of your ass and then post on the BBS of your choice

    2) Make up your credibility by saying "I know this because Dan Langhi and Jason Collier and me are tight!"

    3) Just completely rip people a new one if they disagree with your **** that you are making up on the fly.

    Example would be this:

TroyBarosWannabe: "I know for a fact that if the Rockets try to trade the #15 pick, that Oscar Torres is going to bail on the team and leave to play for a winning team like Memphis or Golden State or Cleveland!"

LogicalPoster: "Ummm...TroyBarosWannabe, why would OT leave and why does he think Memphis, GS, and Cleveland are winners?"

TroyBarosWannabe: "Because Dan Langhi told me and I don't give a ^(*$@*(^$^*$*(@#!$!@%^(@ if you people believe me or not! You'll see in 3 weeks and I won't post until then!"

2 days later, TroyBarosWannabe posts again and starts same schtick again.

If we just ignore TB maybe he will get the hint and go away...for good!

Wow, this is one LONG thread! I guess I'll get my 2 cents in. All I will say is from now on I will stay clear of all of the controversy caused by TB, and whatever happens on draft day and beyond, so be it.

    Go Rockets!!

Why the hell are some of you so worried what Francis thinks? Rudy & CD have more scouting experience than Francis. I think we all can agree on that. Stevie is coming off an injury plagued season and has had off season surgery. At this point in his NBA career what has he really proven?

No 1: He has so much talent but hasn't taken the next step mentally.

No 2: He tries to meddle in front office affairs!! (not to mention he refused to play for another team and forced a trade)

Is this our Franchise player?!!............I can see it now. He enters the season without his 'A' game because he's been rehabing and resting. Struggles early on and then blames it on playing with Ming. Then pouts to the press about how he wants to be traded and forces another trade. Hey Steve!!! Don't let the door hit ya, buddy. We're drafting Ming, so learn to deal with it. Guess what else, Stevie. Griffin's going to blow up. Are you going to be able to deal with that?

Just shut up and play ball, Stevie Franchise.

    Bigman,

Don't worry. If Steve gets out of line, Eddie will just slug him like he did Ty Shine at Seton Hall!

Have you heard the re-issue of their first Spanish-aoustic LP? Wow.

Is Ming really the answer? I mean how many people have seen Ming play? How good are the Chinesse players over there in China? Thats what I want to know, sure his 7'5, but is he that good???? Come on guys, give me something! Atleast we know Dunleavy can play. I don't hate Ming, but I'm not sure his the answer.

I seem to have heard the Rockets have scouted the guy for a few years and other teams have also watched his play and scouted for him. Some people even seem to have watched the guy run some drills in Chicago. At least one former NBA player says he's that good. For the most part they all say he's that good. Nobody on this BBS knows more than any of those people that have actually watched him.
