If Tmac comes back for training camp and can average 15 pts or more, he will not be traded by the trade deadline and held onto for the season to see if Yao makes it back by April to make a late run. If Tmac doesn't play until after the first 20 games or more, he will be traded by the deadline.
Traded for who? If he doesn't play, his market value it's going to be low. If we trade him then, we sure won't get a star in return for him. I think it's better to let him expire and use the cap for the 2010 summer.
You could be right, but also his market value could be high due to the large expiring. Packaged with the right other asset, he could still land us a big name instead of taking the chance to sign someone that isn't committing to coming here yet in the offseason. I'm not guaranteeing it, it's just my opinion of what Morey will probably do.
