If they took a poll before hand and asked if they thought LBJ ever smoked chiba do you really think the majority would say he didn't. Man, this is the 2009 not 1939 of course he smoked weed.

On another topic, making him the face of the NBA and a role model for our kids is something I don't want to happen. Anybody that has a tat "Chosen One" in 1 foot letters on his back is not humble. He's also a poor sport, just look at the playoffs. And not having any aspirations for higher education is not an example for black children or anybody's children.

I would prefer Dwight Howard to inherit that numero uno player role. No tats, never cusses, good sense of humor and great player. Only thing he needs to do is go back to school.

lol true. I remember Vlade Divac smoked so many cigarettes while playing, I'm surprised he didn't light one up while getting ready to take a free throw.

The fact that this makes this type of stuff makes news makes me sad for this country. Are we really so brainwashed to have a problem with people doing this, even if they're doing it privately without interfering with anyone else's lives but their own?

 

I'm of the opinion that sports stars shouldn't even be considered role models. It's usually only a matter of time before the house of cards comes down and the player that is being heralded as a role model shows that he has character traits that aren't worthy of emulating.

 

I just found it funny that this info is from as recent as 2001 (when LeBron would have been a junior in high school) and there's that lonely red dot in the middle of Ohio.

 

Do they have a video of LeBron smoking weed to prove it?

I wasn't suggesting that Bron was smoking before he got dunked on. You're right, that wouldn't make sense. That's ridiculous.
