surgery successful just means the doctors accomplished waht they wanted to accomplish. of course we all know the docs said surgery accomplished last year but yao still went out injured. ;)

    Get well Big Fella.

Did Clanton end up performing the surgery on his own? (As in without a specialist.)

Given his 7'5" stature 300+ pound weight, his proportional chest to abdomen area may in fact contain more guts total that anyone else in the league.

What about balls? Given his 7'5" stature 300+ pound weight, does his proportional testicular area contain more balls total than anyone else in the league? Or does his ethnicity counteract his size?

how long does it take to recover? I mean going back to the court. I miss the days when Yao was killing the other team in the paint.

    Good luck, big man.

Of course, I still believe Scola, Brooks, and the new guy (Ariza) would lead us to the playoffs.

They say that Yao will be in cast and crutches for at "least" 6-8 weeks. I assume physical therapy will be right after that. I don't know how long that can take. The article says he'll be ready for 2010 training camp though.

Yao said earlier that he would start rehabbing after a few weeks and be back doing basketball activiites in 6 months....i think he will recover faster than they are saying.....he has not ruled himself out for next season eventhough the rockets are saying he won't be ready till training camp 2010...maybe they do not want to put extra pressure on him....i think its a good goal...whether he reaches it or not...i would love to have him back for the playoffs if he is completely healthy....

....because his ethnicity has everything to do with that.

hoping this is the last time yao has to have surgery.

Get well soon big guy. Hope when you come back you can play for longer and play stronger to silence all the critics who questions your durability and fortitude!

    Suerte Yao!

maybe the rockets still have hope he will come back this year...I know Yao has not given up....the rockets dont want to say anything yet because of the injury exception they got from the league and also not to add any extra pressure on Yao....wishful thinking maybe...but I can Hope can't I :)

yeah you can hope there is nothing wrong with that but dude give up. Yao is done for the season. Don't even waste your time hoping that he will play. Yao is not Willis Reed lol. Best thing for the guy to do is just rest and pray that his damn foot will heal correctly.

I'm not sure if it was true or not but I remember last time he broke his foot they said China had some magic cure for the foot to heal quicker. Was that true?? Maybe he can take that.

Yes. The secret formula includes 2 tiger balls, a panda's right eye, 3 bamboo trees, 5 logan fruits, and a mango.

If that doesn't work, Yao needs to have the "wolverine" treatment.

In reality, he needs to get some rest and have IV's of milk...

panda right eye is illegal these days since pandas are going extinct. A wise man told me black/brown bear will suffice. mango? i would have gone with asian pear.
