DD and I have disagreed about tracy, but he's a rocket fan first. can't find anyone better. sometimes he's overly enthusiastic i actually agree with him in regards to tracy. tracy has said he's aiming for training camp. the team has ALWAYS said tracy will come back late, or if at all. it's best to have expectations low, so if tracy exceeds it, it's easier for fans to accept him.
You could very well be right about Tracy...they have something up their sleeves, Tracy didn't say he thought he'd be back for preseason for no reason, I guess... Thanks for the vid. One of the best things on the GARM at the moment...keep 'em coming. Side note: Lighting is better...
Great video, DD. I enjoyed the self-deprecating humor and the overall positivity. You're theory on Tracy McGrady is interesting, and it kind of makes sense. It's in the Rockets best interests for Tracy to get back and early and produce (to increase his trade value by February), and it's definitely in Tracy's best interest to do the same because he's playing for a contract. And let's not forget ... Tracy has played some of his best basketball for us when Yao Ming has not been on the floor. He stepped up 3 seasons ago when Yao went down, and did the same 2 seasons ago. I think he used those opportunities to show up his critics. This year, when he comes back hopefully he's playing with a chip on his shoulder and keeping his eye on the prize (no, not a championship ... the MONEY). If that happens, with the rest of the talent we have, things might be pretty interesting. If that happens ... with McGrady, it's still wishful thinking.
Don't the Rox get his salary paid for by insurance for the time he misses? If so, I don't see the Rox with any incentive to bring him back to soon. If he re-aggravates his injury by coming back to quick, his trade value goes down. But I see your take. nice vid!
DD, how about Ron Ron, you didnt even talk about him I thought it was a loss that he went to the Lakers
not too shocked that Ron left cause we always knew that he had that option. also Yao's injury? Ron probably doesn't want to join a team that's rebuilding. Ron has flirted with joining the Lakers for along time too.
