I've heard that UH's George Williams may be getting a workout over the weekend...I'm not sure exactly when.

I have to think this is just a courtesy to the "local kid" kinda thing. I really don't expect him to get drafted but who knows. Hopefully they won't make him any promises a la Rashard.

Maybe Drexler and the Nuggets will throw him a bone.

I think he'd be a pretty good guy to sign for real cheep to be an 11th or 12th man. He has good skills and has the potential to fit into someone's rotation someday.

It's just a shame he didn't stay in school...for both he and UH. Now McCallum returns just one starter.

His ppg have dropped each year from his frosh to junior season. I hope he can get someplace, whether it's in the NBA, NBDL or overseas and polish his skills. I think his outside jumper is not good enough to be considered a pick next Wednesday. I'm sure he'll get a look as a free agent somewhere...but not here.

He's an extremely athletic tweener...George say hi to the NBDL, maybe if he's lucky he can follow a path like Alton Ford...

Alton had a less than stellar year last season. I hope Williams has a better career...he certainly has the better head on his shoulders.
