I wonder who can we pick at #37? Since we moved up like 15 spots, we could pick someone that might help at SF or C....maybe a backup to Ming or a replace of sorry ass Langhi...hehe
Does anyone want to talk about this pick or does anyone care because the pick is going to end up either: A) Waterboy B) In Europe C) Ballboy D) Taking Cato's spot E) In Afghanistan It would be interesting to pick up a scrappy player that could end up being a 6th man...
I got the feeling that the Rockets have their eyes on somebody ala Mobley with the 37th pick. Hopefully, they will be able to pull off the guy they are eyeing. I have no idea who they are looking at! But, then again, a lot of other GM's may not know who the Rockets are eyeing. Let's hope it's Mobley number 2.
Maybe Chris Jefferies out of Fresno St will be on the board at 37. He is suppose to be a great perimeter defender at SF.
Zacatecas, Doc did say that the 2nd rounder makes the team, but that was awhile back. Who knows, maybe it was Tayshaun Prince, but it looks like he'll go in the first round now. We'll have to see. Doc, if you think that bit of info might be dated, you know us nutty offseason speculators would appreciate the update.
i wouldnt be surprised if the 37th pick did make the team. we are letting 3 players (langhi, walt, kev) go. we should replace them with 3 other players (ming, 15, 37).
Clutch and David Aldridge both have good things to say about the guard/sf from Miami. If he were there at 37, the Rockets, I think, will take him.
What about Juan Dixon? He may be bit small but he was a very good guard in college and also has Maryland ties meaning he is Steve's kind of guy.
SG/SF Predrag Savovic - 6'6 225 One of the sweetest strokes I have ever seen, can really light it up. Good passer, moves well w/o the ball, can create his own shot, lots of effort on D, smart as hell - real knowledge of the game, mature (25), leadership and is clutch. Perfect fit for Clutchcity.
you know Bucks fans seems to like this trade Cato Moochie for Tim Thomas with Cato playing power forward beside Joel Pri-theguywetradedforcollier-la what do you guys think?
cml750, Wouldn't it be ironic if dixon ended up being a pretty good point guard, making Francis expendable? A fellow Terrapin Francis always raves about. I doubt that will happen, but Dixon is a winner and works his tail off, so I won't put it against him. I hope nothing like that happens, and that this current team matures together....but maybe the Rockets will use a 2nd round pick to draft a project point guard?
