I would prefer trading the number one pick for a veteran, like odom, camby and another lottery pick, getting caron butler and getting either qyntel woods (I doubt it) or Amare at the 15.
I would draft Ming and Amare and then trade Ming for Odom and the 2 First Rounders and also get Qyntel and Butler maybe..its not a good chance that it will happen but thats what happened on sundays lottery.
It's a good thing we're only offering opinions, suggestions. Odom, Camby, and/or a seasoned vet? Hummm......We have the number one pick, a chance to pick up a once in a lifetime player, and supplement that pick with the # 15, the # 37 and possible package some of our "seasoned" vets with the two latter picks, and trade up. And you want... Odom, Camby, and what? My man, what are you on? Are you seasoned? With cinnamon crispas? You been dipping in Mo T's "seasoned" bag. Think big. Think real. We can do better than Odom and Camby, I promise. No offense intended.
1. Yao 15. Nachbar 37. Cooke/Prince/me I think the Yao pick is the key addition. I don't know how much the team wants to or even can add another contract at 15 so Nachbar would be a good pick in case they can add another player (and he satisfies the biggest need) or he may stay in Europe for a year (in case they can't... seems like a number of teams will go this route with picks due to luxury tax issues). The 37th pick? How many new players can the team add? Reckon its worth trying add talent whenever possible so getting BPA would make sense. But heck, maybe they will draft me?
#1-Yao MIng Trade for Nickoloz Tskitishvili Team of the Future and back to back to back to back to back to back to bak NBA Championships. C-Yao Ming PF-Eddie Griffin SF-Nickoloz Tskitishvili SG-Cuttino Mobley PG-Steve Francis
My ideal picks 1. Ming only if rashard lewis verbally agrees to the exception..wink, wink. 2. Woods - can really score, can he defend. 37. Prince - really long arms.
