I have walked into Home Depot, Office Depot and Walmart, and have found nothing.

I know this is the wrong time of year, but my office is 50 degrees, and I need something soon.

Is their any store in Houston that has these on the shelf right now?

Have you checked if you can even have one? A lot of companies most likely would ban them for liability reasons.

You're just going to have to suck it up, or be like a girl and bring a sweater to work! :p

    1. Find out what the company's energy budget is
    2. Give a seminar about raising the AC temperature from 50s to 71 degree and save the company millions per year on the energy budget

I agree with Jayou. I've seen space heaters catch fire in an office setting. I'd hate to see what could happen if someone accidentally leaves it on overnight or something and the thing doesn't have an auto-off feature.

Tell your dad, it's too dang cold. His electric bill is going to be sky high. He can save hundreds of dollars by raising it to 72 degrees.
