If we did convince them to give us CP3 for Tmac wouldn't the Hornets still be over the Luxury cap........thus kinda negating thestated reason for trading him?

Lol, look at all the n00bs coming out in a little n00b revolt.

I just added up the post counts of all the n00bs who insulted me and it added up to a number that is less than 1% of my total post count. That is simply how awesome I am.

Listen here n00bs, I have been here over 10 years so I understand how to post on a message board. This may seem shocking to you, but if you give it time you may also understand how the internet works. Sadly, most of you are little ****s beneath my supreme internet awesomeness.

I suggest you all take a moment to reflect on your n00bness and question if you really have what it takes to be an internet badass like me or DaDakota.

    TIA.

    GOOD DAY.

I would imagine we would be taking on more money than giving, pushing the 25% limit. 25% of 23 mil is 5.7 ish mil which is 11.4 mil in actual savings since they're over the cap. That coupled with the insurance payments for T-Mac's contract and the cap relief of next year as T-Mac's contract expires, financially, we could offer a very attractive package to the Hornets.

Good point. If they're going to do this deal, Portland might be a better partner for them. Damn it.

And your sentence ignores a rather important contraction.

Perhaps your mother should have done the same thing when pregnant with you.

    OH SNAP I rule.

    Now...

About Mr. Paul...dude could get dealt and if he did, he's going to the east coast if i was a betting man...It's so crazy because you wouldn't think a top 5-6 player would ever get dealt, but the current economic climate changes EVERYTHING.

So now that this thread has been moved to the proper forum, I'd just like to say that Chris Paul is amazing and I'd crush the souls of 1000 n00bs to obtain his services for this team.

Perhaps you should drink an antifreeze cocktail on the rocks and tell everyone in the GARM how it taste.

The Hornets could get plenty more than we have to offer, so the only chance for this to happen would be if Brooks takes his game to the next level.

What's interesting about the upcoming season, however, is how the system is going to favor the style of play that Brooks excels in, so he's definitely going to put up some impressive numbers, and that might seduce a lot of general managers, especially if they're desperate.

If I drank antifreeze it would be less painful than trying to read your rubbish.

Are you simply incapable of constructing a thought in proper English?

    WTH?

You guys KNOW he isn't going anywhere. The only time you trade a player that good is when he's starting to get older and the team is going nowhere like with the KG to celtics deal.

It would probably make more sense for them to trade everyone else on their roster for inferior players than to trade such a rare superstar.

You know what, I didn't think about that...

Brooks could put up career numbers, team (like NO) gets desperate to get players like a Brooks, or like some other players across the league and there you go. Brooks is a young, cheap, talented option for teams looking to pick up contracts that are extra cheap...not saying I would want to deal Aaron, but it's still pretty decent to think about.
