Morey has several (2 or more) ONGOING trade talks with several teams concerning landing an NBA center (someone who played in the NBA before this upcoming season) If none of those talks are fruitful before the season starts, then Andersen will start. But he won't be our starting center at the end of the SEASON, to start playoffs. Andersen is our projected backup center this season

Morey, this will suck, but this is what makes a man a man. We have to include Scola in a deal with Portland, that way they will let us get Lamar Odom or any other player that we want. I know he just met Andersen, but they are so used to playing against each other, despite the mutual respect, lol, Scola has lost some painful games to him and I don't know how that will work out. Aldridge can be had if you include Scola in the deal

You fail to see the nonsense that is your own opening post. We didn't trade for Ariza, we signed him. So you're saying Lebron/Shaq won't work, yet Lebron is going to come to Houston (because of Ariza? LOL!) or we're gonna trade T-Mac for Lebron so he can play with another big, lumbering 7 footer? I think Morey is a little shady, because of how Yao's foot that hasn't healed was handled. Morey knew how bad it was a couple days before the draft, but it wasn't until Yahoo broke the news that we found out how bad Yao's foot was. He kept saying. "We are waiting for more test results when he knew along." And the reason? Season Ticket sales. This guy from chron put it the best. On Feigan's blog he asked: "Are the Rockets intentionally not telling the public if Yao will be out for the whole season hoping some fans will be fooled into thinking Yao will be back in 6 months around Dec/Jan and thus waste their money buying season tickets? I heard second hand that Morey said Yao will be fine and that he is "optimistic". Something seems fishy here.
