From everything i've read on this kid he has everything put a good jumpshot. And unfortunatley hasn't taken the time to improve it. What a waste.
If he doesnt put it together now, he'll have at most a Randy Livingston type NBA career. Along with the attitude issues was worth ethic and weight issues, though that was overblown but showed he didnt put enough time into conditioning.. Typical baller but not a gamer.
Things started going downhill for him even way back in his freshman year in college, when he stole laptops from two women on the basketball team at UConn. Yeah I would say his future in the NBA is shot.
2nd game. And I miss the game. Stats line not impressive, but still only 1 turnover and no faults in 30 mins. Either he did not work on defense or he play some smart basketball. http://www.nba.com/summerleague2009/games/boxscore.jsp?gameId=1520900019 Maybe he learn his lessons, maybe not. But after the turnaround of wafer and birdman, I will give anyone a 2nd, 3rd or even a 4th chance to make it to the NBA.
So you guys have some recent info on him. He played this year in the Puerto Rican Basketball League. I live here and went to most of his games. He had averages of 16 ppg, 8.6 apg (led the league), 5 rpg, 3 three pointers per game. I know he's bounced around the league, but I think he can at least play back up somewhere. I know it's not the same type of talent level as the NBA but he was really tearing it up. I wouldn't mind getting him but we're set at PG.
