Allen Iverson having serious discussion with Clippers

This is more about market. AI was still voted as a starter in last year ASG. He still has a lot of loyal fans. If AI signs with them, there will be many games on national tv because him and Griffin.

 

I think he is a good pick up for them and I wish he was coming here for that price. He is a low risk i high reward kinda player. He's 34, but if he plays really well, we would trade him to a contender before the break

 

Agree, I believe getting him for the MLE or half of it is a low risk gamble that would pay dividends for this season. Hope the Rockets can offer the same to obtain him unless they are going for some front court help.

Good news for the all the Clipper optimists here ( ), they are only looking to pick up AI if he's willing to accept coming off the bench. Looks like Dunleavy wants to avoid repeating Dumars' mistake.
