Dampier's contract for this coming year is partial guaranteed. This will help the Miller family save around 10 million dollars.
Not sure if it was posted already, but the latest that I've read was that the Jazz were working on a deal to send Boozer to Miami for Haslem & spare parts. Decent trade for both sides.
How about Josh Howard for Boozer instead? I do not know if the salaries match but that would be a good deal for both teams.
Good deal, yes, but I think Utah is trying to move Boozer to clear cap space to resign Millsap and avoid the luxury tax. I don't think this deal helps in either regard.
I'm thinking it'll be a 3-team trade, with Boozer heading to the Bulls, Hinrich heading to the Blazers, and Pryzbilla/Fernandez to Utah. Insert filler as needed to make the cap space work.
hey guys I heard "through the grapevine" that the jazz maybe trading boozer to the lakers for Odom in a S&T thats all i was told of course these things come and go all the time not sure how the figures and all work i think thats what could be being worked on just take that fwiw
i dont have an opinion of it myself I dont think Sloan would want a player of odom's demeanor but thats what I was told the jazz FO is trying their best to keep millsap and i think are hoping somehow to save money in bringing in odom and possibly moving AK for some expirings
Moving AK for expirings would save them money next season, not now. I also seriously doubt the Jazz would open the vault for a player like Odom any more than he would want to play for that team and in that city. He'll either go back to LA or Miami. Odom controls his destiny.
like i said its just what i was told what i did read online was odom wants to play in LA but its his agent that is trying to get him more money and is listening to other teams and all
I think Odom's agent overplayed his hand and will crawl back to the Lakers now that they have pulled their offer.
