I am looking to go to Las Vegas with my wife in July, anybody know where to get the best hotel/air deal? I looked around, but most sites offered about the same rates. Thanks!
I dont know about air, but as far as hotels go you cant beat the Barbary Coast for accomodations. Cheap rates (around $99 per night on the weekends) Center strip location (across from Ceasars Palace, Flamingo, Paris) Clean, nice, big rooms Friendly Staff (there are only 200 rooms, so they treat you like a human) www.cheapovegas.com is a good website for information on hotels and what to expect.

It is a decent hotel right on the strip - 3 stars, good buffets. http://www.treasureisland.com/promos/blasts/61902_July/ When I went I only paid 59$ a night to stay at the Venetian Tue-Friday (3 nights.) It is an amazing 5 star hotel.
If you can find a decent travel agent, they will sometimes be able to find you some unadvertised deals. An agent will tend to bust their butt a bit more for you since their profession is definitely on the decline. Usually, a vacation package will give you the best deal rather than buying rooms and airfare separately.
