    What???????

    Sorry, I don't get the humor.
If you are saying I know Troy. Um, okay.....

Strange, though since I don't know anyone on this sight personally.

    Rimbaud,
Again, I have not changed my stance. Clear distinction between what I think the Rockets SHOULD do as opposed to what I think they will do, what they may do or what I have heard they are thinking about doing.

My stance has not changed throughout....

Personally, I would not take the chance on Ming. I believe he/Jay Williams is more valuable as a trade commodity, but...thats just me IMHO.;)

Am I limited to what I can say about their feelings? Yes at times unless I am told to post something.

    So Troy,

What exactly have you been told to post and who told you to do so?

That was hilarious. troy forgot about the rest of the dominos if the rockets draft ming: Francis bolts, the Rockets can't sell any tix, they fold, the new arena is empty, the city of Houston is in huge debt, its municipal bond ratings crumble, Institutional investors pull out of the bond market, chaos ensues on Wall street, capital floods oversees, the euro becomes deflationary, a world wide economic depression leads to a spate of leftist revolutions followed by right wing counterinsurgencies, then the UN tries to take his guns away from their black helicopters, in conjunction with freemasons and MIB's.

With the embers still burning from the shrapnel (sp?) left behind from Enron collapse, don't post stuff like that, it's kind of scary!

I have seen the future. China wants a superstar in a big way and he'll be landing at IHA via a convoy, escort, and beavy of pomp and circumstance the likes we've never seen. He'll be the eight wonder of the NBA. After the hoopla settles from the # 1 pick, all forms of chaos and confusion reign. Looks for the Rockets to skillfully manipulate some shrewd moves, come away with some major talent, and surprises. Leaving the majority of these geezers grinning from ear to ear, like some treed opossum that just discovered a nest of yellowjackets. All our conjecture will seem minuscule in post our draft celebration. Even Stevie Franshise will be satiated. Glad to be a Rocket. Glad to be alive.

Jeff's right. Francis is just blowing his wad, saying crap already about Ming...doesn't fit w/ the team...get Odom, waa waa waa. He needs to be patient and let him flow w/ the team first. He will realize that the Rockets did the right thing in picking Ming.

    !!!:

OK, this is getting bad...I will alleviate the problems and say that you should not take any of my comments seriously - my humor is bad humor. I suck. I know you don't know Troy. If you did, you probably would have killed yourself by now.

    To beat a dead horse:

As I posted in that Tom Petty thread - you were earlier saying that the Rockets had no interest in Yao at all - just a smokescreen, suggested Doc's sources were misleading him, Yao will never be in a Rockets jersey, etc.

Recently it has been Rockets will draft him if there are no problems with China...but there are so it probably won't happen.

I just got confused by that. You responded with rolleyes, so now I mess with you and lump you with Troy and TRG as my response.

    haha.

TroyBaros...please tell us some more insider info...like how old you are?

I don't think people doubt you as much as disregard your comments because they dislike the attitude. Obviously we also don't want to believe some of the things you are saying about Stevie.

Now the reason I'd like to know your age is that it might be the missing part of the equation that makes all of your statements make sense.

    1. You claim to know and talk to people in the organization, including players.

    2. You reveal spin-free bits of information about how certain players are feeling about sensitive issues.

    3. You make very bold predictions, weeks before they could possibly come true.

    4. You say that sometimes you are told to post things.

If you are buddy-buddy with players/org people, why would you air the organization's dirty laundry in public? If I was Steve and I was reading this site, I'd be pi**ed about how you are making me look like an a**. This is the age of image being everything - Steve has to know that demanding trades hurts his image and lowers his value to advertisers.

I'd almost accept that you are being told to put this info out here so that trade offers for Steve will come in - except that you seem hell-bound to get kicked off of this board.

Basically, you just don't seem to be exercising much forethought before posting. Can you explain?

Thank you!! At least someone else noticed this trend.

    Gimme that bonus baby!

Troy, your "predictions" wouldn't be so bad if you weren't such a smug and pompous little ass about it. No one cares who you know or who you have hung out with. You seem to do this to make yourself look cooler. Well I have news for you buddy, you end up looking like a pretentious, self-promoting schmuck.

The point is if you really are a friend of any of these people you wouldn't put this info out there in the manner you do. The team can not benefit from anything you are doing and will only cause strain between the players themselves and the organization. You may be right and I really don't care, but if you care about these people at all, you'd keep your mouth shut.

BTW, I don't doubt that you have "hung out" with any of the players, but I do doubt that you are as chummy with them as you let on. You're probably just a groupie that knows a few people that know a few people. Feel free to fill us in on your next eavesdropping session groupie!

I don't know what the Rockets will do. But I do know two things:

    1. If Troy and Steve Francis are friends, at least one of them has extremely bad judgment.

    2. If Troy is ever right about anything, it will be by accident.

    WOW......
I missed out on all the bickering! ;)

Well, I like it when people post whatever they think is insider info and appreciate it. It gives us all something to talk, yell and shout in all caps about!

    Troy,
Every one of your threads always have 3 or 4 pages of replies from people calling you crazy. If I were you and I really did have legitimate info, I wouldn't waste my time on a lot of people that despised me. On the other hand, if I had fake information that I wanted to use to piss off lots of people who despised me, I would certainly do that. Either you disagree with this logic and your info's right, or you agree with my way of thinking and you're full of crap.

Is Troy a Trojan Horse? Looks intriguing on the outside, but hollow on the inside? :)

    Troy,

You had breakfast with Jim Rhome? Did he show you the intricacies of incorporating an H-back into a pro-style offense?

Damn dude, if you were that star struck I would think you'd know the guy's name.

Another thing -- if you know all these people that you say you know, including management, I would guess that you might be somewhat successful, or at least competent, in whatever it is that you do.

Maybe it's me, but successful people, no matter what business they are in, generally can string together sentences in a manner that is relatively easy to read, with things like periods and commas to break up individual thoughts and phrases, so they are not jumbled together in a childish mash, like, "I talked to Francis he wants out Ming will be a bust mark my words I think my ring pop is almost finished."

I don't know, just some random thoughts.

The more I read this thread, the more I think that TB is a towel boy at the WestSide TennisClub practice facility who overhears shower stall conversations.

Francis: Man Cat, that Ming dude is freakin tall.
Mobes: True dat. It'll be weird when he's in here lookin over at us in the shower.
Francis: Yeah. I'll turn around one day and his stuff will be right in my face. I'll be like 'Hows it hangin Wang Zhizhi' and he'll be like 'Hey, I'm Yao Ming' and I'll say 'I bet women say Yao'.
Mobes: No way I'm dealing with that, If he comes in here, I'm outta here.
    Francis: Yeah, me too.

TB (taking mental notes): If Ming comes, Francis And Cat are leaving.

    No problem Pued.

What I said was CBFC post cracked me up and I could not believe anyone had not mentioned it, but I was only half-way through the thread. If no one had mentioned it I sure as hell would. No one had - then you did. ;)

But I can see what you are saying.

Now where do I sign up for that CBFC Fan Club again? :p
