Great move by the Nuggets. They continue to build and strengthen their bench. Afflalo would be a better fit for the system of Karl and obviously better then Jones. Another western conference team getting better. :(

this is a sweet, sweet trade for the nuggets.

but when trades like these come up...I wonder where the #$^% is Morey in this? We really need a SG right now and Affalo I believe can be a starter like Anthony Parker in the future. He's a very sound defender and has a great midrange game. I'd LOVE to have Affalo on our team, he'd fit our rebuilding plan like a glove.

How come we couldn't have gotten this deal done instead of Denver? We've got our trade exceptions...and plus we could have provided a better deal than that 60th pick the Nuggets "gave up".

People don't believe me when I say this, but dumars was trying tooth and nail to give away that 1st rd pick. He really wanted no part and when morey said they might buy a pick, I thought that was the team.

They will be a totally different team next season. For one, they have a new coach. New coach means new philosophy on how the games should be played. They basically are dismantling the team that won it all 5 years ago.

You do realize that the GM who did all of the moves you bashed (other than the Nene one... not sure when that falls on the timeline but I think it was the new GRM) was Kiki Vandeweghe -- who is no longer our GM, right?
