yeah I got it on- kinda sucks that the guy whos tearing it up early usually runs out of steam and ends up losing to the guy who didnt wow the crowd on the way to the final. I think Pujols won't win, for some reason I'm feeling Mauer.
There was a thread in the Astros forum that said he would be hitting in the derby but he wasn't chosen.
lol, I just flipped back after the fielder ABs and saw Inge with 8 outs and 0 HRs- seems like I chose a good player to skip on
i know you get to pick your pitcher, but ryan howard's pitcher would seem to be bad for a HR derby. a little sidearm and with some movement. but maybe he's used to it by now.
this is cool. they don't make us go through the painstaking experience of watching the actual baseball, instead they let us watch a color-changing, digital line! GB technology!
Why is Fox tracking the ball...did they not learn anything from hockey? Whoops...this is ESPN; well then they should have asked Fox how well that worked out for them.
So far this has been pretty boring....maybe it's because they can't hit it out of the park....there's something exciting about watching a guy hit it over the fence and into the bay....or at MMP over the train tracks to the crowds on Crawford Street. Or they need someone to hit 15-20 in a row.
