Playing GTA3 a federal crime?

    This is being discussed on the Jeff Ward show on 590LBJ in Austin.

    Where does he find this stuff? Don't have a link, but I'm looking. Can someone actually make playing certain video games unlawful? What in the hell is happening in this country?

    This has to be a sign of the Apocalypse.

    This is an OLD news story (link) . Still quite scary if it becomes law.

    rockHEAD, you are right that it would apply to minors. Guess who'll foot the bill for violations? :(

    GTA3 is the best game ever made. I would be very dissapointed if this happend.

    It happened in Australia. GTA3 was on the market for a few days, and then it was taken off. :mad: :mad:

    GTA is the best game ever. I hope that this law isn't passed, because I'm a minor.

    Killing the police and innocent bystanders for no reason at all is a hobby applicable to people of all ages. I don't see why they should hinder minors from jumping in on the fun...:)
