He is a decent player. He fights for the rebound and plays defense however He is not worth giving Shane up. The made up Portland package is better. Pryzbilla and Fernandez or Outlaw or Bayless.
Isn't Foster a free agent? If He is then sign him to half of the MLE. He is good but not at the expense of giving up Battier.

Foster is REALLY well liked in Indiana from what i last heard; I believe that Indiana gave him a nice extension midway through last year, and resisted trading him at the deadline for the Bobcats' first rounder and Kleiza from the Nuggets. So don't act as if he doesn't have value. That being said, it's obvious that much like Pryzbilla and Battier, he has too much value to his own team to entertain the idea of getting a steal of a deal in picking him up, and Battier is too valuable as a team captain to include in such a deal.
i wouldn't trade unless we're getting an offensive stud, a second-tier player, border line all star type of player. foster, unfortunately, isn't ****
This is silly. Battier and Scola need to stay on this team if we want to win a championship one of these next years. They are winners.

I do not diss him. I will do trade for getting him, just in case Shane Battier does not involved in trade asset. What Shane does in red uniform is hell more valuable for us than Poster can do for us..
