McGrady put in the paper work for the uniform change midway through last season and had received league approval. He was making the switch to his high school number to bring attention to his ‘Darfur Dream Team’ campaign and ‘3 points’ documentary, Newly acquired Trevor Ariza will wear No. 1, but could not show the uniform at the press conference last week while details of McGrady’s uniform change were completed. The "Darfur Dream Team" enlists athletes to help raise funds for schools in Chad for Darfur refugees in a sister school program with schools in the United States. The documentary ‘3 Points" follows McGrady on his trip to Sudan and Chad in the summer of 2007. jonathan.feigen@chron.com
Well, I guess this answers the big question in the earlier thread. But maybe he will wear number 3 for a different team possibly?

#3 is cursed. Next thing you know TMac will start making statements like he built the TC. He's already just sitting around collecting paychecks, started to hold the ball too much and overdribble, thinks he's better then what he actual is now....the transformation is almost complete (although the low bball IQ will be hard to match)...
"TMac4Life" looks strange. What exactly does the TMac lifestyle consist of? Half-assing your way through life and refusing to drive the lane?
