Does anyone in H-town know what Francis and Cat have been saying about the whole Draft/Ming situation lately. Im curious to know if there have been any reports in the Chronicle. Have they changed their views?
It appears they are skeptical, mostly becaues they don't know a lot about Ming. They want to "win now" and are more excited by a "known commodity" in Odom. Nothing really wrong with that though. They have said that they have faith in Rudy and if Rudy went over to China because he was excited about Ming then that says something to them. I really think Francis and Mobley and the other players will be more excited about Ming when they get to see him in practice, play with him, and get to know him better. In the papers in October when Ming comes over I am fully expecting to read quotes from Francis and Mobley such as "I didn't know Ming was such a good shooter and passer." "He is a lot quicker than I thought." etc, etc. Chris
