    Frye's a decent big ... he can shoot and score, so he should do alright in Phoenix. His time in Portland was a dud, but if I remember correctly, he did some nice things for the Knicks.

    He did show some potential when He was a Knick. Maybe, He was caught in the numbers game in Portland. That team had a loaded front court and there was not enough playing time to spread around. A fresh start in Phoenix would basically be the deciding factor if He is indeed good enough to stay in the NBA.

    Frye is a very nice, likable guy with a good head on his shoulders. But he isn't dedicated enough to basketball to take the next step. Nothing wrong with that, but it's why he probably won't ever amount to much in the NBA.

    i seem to remember when channing frye was with the knicks and was the one 'untouchable' piece new york didn't want to part with in a deal for Kevin Garnett...
