it sucked.....too much dick on screen for me....sacha went to far from me and all the funny scenes were on the commercials
i thought it was really disappointing. too much of the movie was staged. (although after borat, i guess too many people saw it coming?) whereas borat was really funny with a couple slow parts, bruno was slow with a couple really funny parts.
I heard from a few people that was a good. Not as good as Borat... but still good. Gonna go see it sunday.
Thanks for starting a new thread, it's not like there wasn't already one, but I totally understand that your opinion is so important it deserves it's own thread.
I haven't seen it but I'm sure it, just like his two previous movies, doesn't come close to being as good as his show.
If you want to see a man's crank for about 10 seconds straight, you'll love this. People were actually walking out of the theater last night during the show
Hello? What did you guys think it was going to be about? The seance scene had me rolling and cringing at the same time. That was nuts. I loved the night scenes with the hunters too. Ron Paul part was classic. I wish Cohen would talk more about his characters and how everything goes into making these movies but they seem to keep everything secret.
I agree. For the people who did not like it or are on the fence about seeing it, just look to your previous opinions on Sacha Baron Cohen's movies. If you didn't like Borat and thought it was offensive, stay away from Bruno. This is ten times more outrageous. However, if you go into the theater knowing that you're going to see material that goes well over the line, you'll enjoy it.
I have loved all of SBC's work up until this one. It was just too slow and repetitive. Many of the same themes and styles of pranks haven't change since Borat. These just weren't as funny. It was more shock value than humor.
