right, but josh hamilton and drew brees were virtual zeros before they had those monstorous seasons in which they won the award, to quote your post... "It's not like he was good, then sucked, then became good again." there are plenty of other winners that "cameback" from nothing. it's semantics....and I agree that Bourn should be a candidate for most improved poy. not comeback poy.

This team just cannot get to .500. It's amazing the bizarre things that go wrong every time they get within a game or two.
Roy's got to be beside himself right about now. Sampson should probably shut it down until after the All-Star game. He's been going on fumes for some time now - I don't doubt that he's hiding an injury.
WOW...this has just turned into a nightmare of a game. ITS THE FREAKING NATIONALS! I still think we rally and win this but darn bullpen can't hold a lead for ROY!
I love the Rox but Bleed Stros Brick Red and this sucks....Watching this game is an example why we aren't going to make the playoffs with this team.
this team is just mentally weak. once things start to turn sour, they never can seem to stop the bleeding.

I read somewhere that Oswalt got a blister. Not sure how legit it is. That sucks ass if that's what kept us from this win.
