Reading Fatty's thread about greatest hangout thread ever had me reading some old threads, especially the Fatty ones and some of the most entertaining moments were when the poster named Desert_Rocket would give Fatty the business. Fatty would respond back and inevitably accuse of him being NewYorker. With NewYorker resurfacing as Sweet Lou (can't remember the rest of the handle), it looks like Fatty was wrong (imagine that). However, Desert_Rocket did admit being on the board in the past but in a lurker role. Several unanswered questions remain: 1) What has happened to him - I don't think he has posted in a long time 2) Who was he really before he came on the board as Desert_Rocket?
Hmm, now the red X is showing up and it's the "My Life" movie. Dumb question - but that movie has been referenced a lot lately on this BBS and it is becoming as common as "Sura Faints" or "Hispanic?" Can anybody explain to me the meaning of posting "My Life with Michael Keaton" in a thread?
Well Sweet Lou admitted that he was NewYorker so I don't think that is it, Fatty. In one of the threads I read, he said he used to post exclusively in the GARM and that no one would recognize his handle. But that was as far as he went in revealing he used to be. I know you and him didn't get along but I liked his wit - his poem about you and the segway was pretty damn hilarious, you have to admit.
Ah, so it is basically the standard phrase to use to answer a question, any question. I missed that thread you linked to - it's one of those things that you had to post in it or read it at the time to understand just like Hispanic?
