I'm not the biggest Francis Fan. I once was, especially when we traded for him. However, I feel he would be a better 2G. Unfortunatly he does not feel this way. If we try to put him there then he'll pout and try to pull a power move like he did in Vancouver. Before it's to late and one day were in a playoff game, 4th qtr 10sec. left and he's trying dribble past 3 defenders, while Ming and Eddie are both open, and instead he passes it to mobley who is being gaurded by SHAQ and subsequently blocks mobley's shot..... don't you think we should explore trading him ? Francis & Cato for Andre Miller, & 6th pick.
I would highly doubt that the Cavs would make that deal. Francis and Miller are equal players and Cato is definitely not worth the 6th pick.
they can have the Green Hornet, but I will NOT give up Kato. That dude has hopps. also take out Francis from the deal to make it fair. Green Hornet + Tierre Brown + Collier for Miller + #6. I think Cleveland would do that. They need someone to help out Ty Hill.
PG- Miller SG- Cat SF- Caron Butler PF- Griffin C- Ming vs PG- Francis SG- Cat SF- Nachbar PF- Griffin C- Ming I don't think your trade idea is very good.
I think a more realistic scenario for Miller is to the Clippers (hometown). Miller/Coles/pick for Odom/Dooling/picks
There are a few resons why this is impossible ... first of all Cleveland gives up too much ... Miller and Francis should be of roughly equal value and obviously Cato isnt worth the #6 ... The fact that Cleveland probably wouldn't be able to resign Francis doesnt help either ...
I don' think any team is stupid enough to trade anything for an over-the-hill, wannabe actor and professional mooch who might have been an accessory to a double homicide.
How about time in the penalty box for trades which blatantly violate the Collective Bargaining Agreement? Say, 2 days for every million $ over the cap - pericles don't make any posts for 2 weeks.
