So do you all feel stupid now for buying his fake feud with Kobe in the series against us? They are boys off the court and Ron was plotting to go there the whole time. Ron is in the same category as Karl Malone for me.

    *did not read the thread*

Ron said today in a radio interview he selected the #37 as a tribute to Micheal Jackson. Thriller was the #1 song for 37 straight weeks.

Tracy. At least Tracy doesn't want out. He blocked trades to STAY IN HOUSTON!

Tracy hands down. Now we know why these two didn't get along. Tracy knew Ron would show his true colors and was only playing hard so that he could get a new contract with the Lakers. Artest did not care about this team. Many said that. This was and is Tracy's team. He wants to win, its not his fault that his knee was jacked and our doctors made him play thru it. Ron is a joke and he showed his true colors.

TMac has become an non entity here in Houston. He does not deserve to wear the Rocket's colors anymore. Hope he gets traded soon.

Because he had a bad knee that our crappy doctor misdiagnosed? The same doctor who let Yao's foot get worse? The same doctor who resigned? Does not compute. Tracy has done a lot for this franchise.

    He looked better in red.

    T-Mac > Ron

...especially if he can come back and play well.

Ron did not will us anywhere. He helped sure. Also never passed and got torched by Brandon Roy and Kobe Bryant. Took horrible shots. Whatever. I used to like Ron.

He's out there getting into it with Kobe when all he's trying to do is get on their squad. Shaves the R in his head and wishes he was in Purple and gold. What a fu**ing sellout. Dude is so in love with Kobe and Ron stunk it up against the Lakers.

Whatever I wouldnt want him for 5 years anyway. Good riddance.

Who cares about Ron. Ron was all talk. I'll say this but I'm really going to do this. If I can't beat 'em I'll join 'em. I think that was clear in his mind after we got eliminated. Anyhow, mods, can we move this? He is no longer a Rocket.

Man, never would of thought that he would become a laker during the season, but that just shows you what can happen when you win a championship.

It rarely works for players who jump on the bandwagon. I hope it doesnt work for Ron.

I think it had more to do with Ron wanting to play in the city of Los Angeles, with Phil Jackson coaching, and with his friends Kobe/Lamar.

Of course, the fact the Lakers are champions was enticing, but it seemed like this was something Artest wanted and this was the best opportunity and time for both sides to make it happen.

I agree, all of those are factors in his decision to go to Los Angeles.
