you say he is not a sg. tell me y he cant play that position. he is getting better at shooting 3's ala playoffs. In adelman offense its all about movement and open shots. if he can move and get open he will be able to play sg.

I bet before Lewis ever played for orlando you probably never thought he can play pf since he cant rebound and play d on other pf also.

Dont compare Taylor to Wafer. Hes done nothing yet. Wafer has already proved he has game.

How did I act like he's Dwade? By saying he should be signed already?

The Rockets dont have a SG as good as Wafer and they have nobody who can score. What the hell are they waiting for.

Well CJ Watson is restricted an the Warriors might not match an offer for him...

They already have Steph Curry, Anthony Morrow, Acie Law, Speedy Claxton, Monta Ellis, Marco Belinelli, and Kelenna Azubuike in the back court!

I think he could play SG and some PG... wouldn't mind the Rockets picking him up for cheap

    In the playoffs:

    Ariza 2P% 49.7, 3P% 47.6

    Wafer 2P% 42.4, 3P% 40.9

Why can Rashard play PF but Ariza can't play sg? Ariza is more suited to play sg than Lewis is suited to play pf, if Lewis can play as a pf then Ariza can certainly play as a SG. FYI, in most modern lineups SF and SG are fairly interchangeable, that's why people usually merge the two positions and call them "swingmen" instead.

Its amazing you are actually thinking Ariza won't play SG for us

nevermind he is a PG, so maybe the Rockets should go after him, if they decide they are going to trade Brooks or Lowry

You keep talking about Rashard Lewis. He's 6'10. Why wouldnt he play pf? Because he shoots threes? Of course he can play pf.

If you want me to explain to you why he isnt a SG then I dont know what to tell you. He is not a guard and is not going to be for the Rockets. He doesnt have a SG's game. He might have got hot in the playoffs but hes a 30% percent 3 pt shooter. And he doesnt handle the ball well enough.

I just think Ariza is a prototypical SF and playing him at the 2 would be dumb. Maybe during stretches but definitely not starting 2.

    Maybe Im wrong. We'll see.

His natural position is SF because he cant post up, rebound and dosent play d-fence

For me, it's not that Ariza can't play SG. It's that he can't play SG with an SF even more limited offensively than he is. With Battier and Ariza, you've got two swingmen that basically can't do anything on offense except spot-up 3's (I guess Ariza's a good slasher/finisher to be fair).

Which would result in a turnover.

Someone please tell me why do you want to trade shane away? I mean he is our only leader, he provides the toughness, heart, and mentallity to play defense. Remember when he was injured, did you see our defense? I mean seriously I don't understand trading him, I'm still wondering what we could with Brian Cooks trade filler contract.

Does it matter where he play?

Coach A is not going to go "Ok on this play, we are creating a shot for the shooting guard position"
