Go the Bosh route. Amar'e would probably leave us when the seasons over anyway, but if we go with the Bosh plan we'd have a decent lottery pick, I dont expect it to be too high 'cause our players will always fight they wont tank, and we'd have Yao coming back healthy.....hopefully (knock on wood)
haha yeah man thats it " " seriously though what makes you want to build a franchise around Chris Bosh give me 3 legit answers and i'll listen
I dont understand why people are counting out tmac for this season .. never underestimate the heart of a player in the last year of his contract!
That's just stupid (regarding Wade). His injuries are just freak accidents. It's not a case of recurring injuries to to wear and tear on the body. That's the same thing that was said about Adrian Petersen coming out of OU. That seemed to work out okay don't you think?
Since his NBA career began Bosh has emerged as one of the most established young stars in the league. In the process, he has become a four-time NBA All-Star, been named to the All-NBA team, appeared for the US national team (with whom he won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics), and taken over former fan-favorite Vince Carter as the face and leader of the Raptors franchise. In the 2006–07 season, Bosh led the Raptors to their first NBA Playoffs berth in five years, and their first ever division title. He is Toronto's all-time leader in rebounds, blocks, double doubles, free throws made and attempted, and minutes played. All this and he is only 25 years old.
Well?????? What being a four-time NBA All-Star, being named to the All-NBA team, leading his team to their first NBA Playoffs berth in five years, and their first ever division title and only being 25 years old not legit enough answers for you?
Why wouldn't he leave? He will still be able to get a max contract from a bunch of teams in cities that he would rather live in.
I get it he is a great player but last year his numbers were: pts: 22.7 rebs: 10.0 ast: 2.5 fg: 48.7% which i must say are very impressive but the only stat i look at is this: W:33 L:49 lottery if you want to talk about numbers look at Tracy's when he came here scoring champ all NBA team ALL-STAR and now look u just gotta realize making a move is not always the answer stay put go get a true C, and hopefully sign a Joe Johnson or a D. Wade i would perfer this line up: Brooks J. Johnson Ariza Scola ??? than this: Brooks Taylor Ariza Bosh ???
are u comparing wade to tmac injury wise? that's completely ludicrous. 1. wade has 1 major injury, tmac has pretty much everything from his back on down to his ankles hurt at one point or another. 2. wade is a champion and he plays D. tmac hasn't even been out of the 1st round and but i don't think tmacs D is bad, he just doesn't play with intensity on that side of the ball like wade. 3. wade is young and hungry. that guy is on another planet. tmac is working for another contract and is on our planet, the houston rockets!
I'd say Bosh simply just watching him beast it up in the Olympics. He will be in a different player once he gets out of the hellhole in Canada.
Wade in 2010...and to people who say he is T-Mac 2.0, your wrong. Wade is a winner, he works his butt off in the offseason and keeps in top shape. The main reason T-Mac was/is so injury prone is because the lack of those 2 key things...If Yao rehabs the entire 2009-10 season, maybe he'll have 2 or 3 strong years left. Plus, we'd have enough to sign another decent player next summer. Wade, Ariza, Scola, Yao... a more mature Landry, Brooks and Lowry due to extended mintues this year. Not to mention whoever else we could get. I'm not ready to close the door on Yao, I think if hes paired with the right guy and has a couple of healthy seasons left we could really be a great team....maybe its wishful thinking, I dunno...Its been a hard decade man...
