How do you see the Wafer free agent story end up? I am thinking $4 million for 2 years (pretty much what Shannon Brown got) to New Orleans, if they lose the Pargo sweeps to Chicago (imagine that.. there is a Pargo sweeps).

I think NO is the obvious choice. THey need an athletic 2guard, and have for quite some time.

If his ego is big as I think it is, he might not get the deal he wants in this market.

And because of that, he wants to prove he can improve more, so he signs with us for a one year (plus player option for next) for the minimum.

We'll see if Morey can work out the S&T or get an injury exception for Yao. We might see Wafer back if that happens. This crop of FA is so bad that pretty soon Wafer might be the best guy left.

I'm a big fan of wafer and I know we got ariza but can somebody explain why we aren't trying to resign him after his great season last year. I think he can be a solid contributor off the bench and since we are now in a rebuilding phase he will get more playing time and that will be better for the team I believe.

I'm guessing he's hard to coach. I mean, it's not like he plays any sort of team basketball or anything. The guy has no skills except for shooting.

Ehhh, NOH needs everything. They have CP3, DWest, and then a bunch of scrubs.

They let JR Smith go. If they end up with Wafer, they'll be getting Smith-lite.

I really hope we can find a way to keep Von, but I'm not sure how that works if we sign Ariza.

I think he gets 3 years for less than 3 million per. might be 2.1 per or something similar.

I will be sad if we loose Wafer. Especially since we will need scoring next season. Love Wafer. C'mon Von, do it, come back.

Don Nelson has to give him a shot. He fits the profile for Nelson's Clone Wars strat.

His best choice is the Hornets. The Hornets need a shooter and with Peja being an injury prone player, They need a sf that can score and Wafer fits that well.

why get wafer back is so important? we have ariza, battier as wing player, 2 good one, and we drafted 2 wing player. If we trade Tmac, there is always chance we will get some wing player back too.

    Wafer is expendable.

The hornets have got a lot of good wings.

Behind peja, they have julian wright, a young stud, and james posey and rasual butler.

Butler plays a very similar style to Von in that they like to jack up shots and can slash but have not in between game.

I think its a HUGE mistake to just let Wafer go. Look at JR Smith, people thought he was a headcase and no one gave him a second glance. And now, I bet any team would take JR for the money hes making
