It's pretty simple really, in the absence of a trade or a rookie suprising all of us, this team will start Trevor Ariza and Shane Battier on the wings. You can pick either one of them to designate as your "SG," but those are the two best wing guys we have. The Rockets will have the longest wing combo, probalby by a pretty significant margin, in the league. Battier has a 8'9'' standing reach, and Trevor Ariza's standing reach is 8'11.5'' .

Awesome, and neither one can dribble or create a shot....woohoooo....two defensive wings....maybe we can run the picket fence at em, and Jimmy Chitwood can knock down an open J.

we need a shooting guard, but most likely ariza will be the start shooting guard...we need a solid back-up, taylor has the potiental but he has proven anything yet. and wafer(please dont re-sign him). i would rather have golden state warriors shooting guard anthony morrow than wafer.

Just remember that we will be fast paced this season. With a running game, we can hit 90ppg regardless of our lack scoring talent. I see Brooks really breaking out this season and raising his trade value immensly. He'll be 19 - 22 ppg. It will be like Mike James when he went to Toronto.

Regardless, we will still struggle to make the playoffs if we even ahve a chance. I hate to say it, but we really just have to wait for T-Mac to come back to have any chance of making the playoffs. We won't suck as much as everyone thinks though. Maybe we'll win about 32 games. If we exceed expectations, maybe 38 games.

We should have Never traded both of our Picks last year. We should have kept Batum or Greene. Batum would of been my choice, but both will be good Nba players and were very young. We'll regret it in years to come.

Tracy Mcgrady, Clyde Drexler, Brent Barry.

Well... Adelman started Artest at the two-spot, and we all know how well of a playmaker he was. I don't believe I remember ever seeing Artest turning the ball over, ball hogging, traveling or committing any offensive fouls last season...

Artest-Ariza was a de facto free agency trade. Morey will deny it, but I don't see why Ariza would start at any other position than at the two-guard position, at least initially.

If anything, Battier would start as the SG and Ariza as the SF. I highly doubt any of our rookies will start.

Then again, it's too early to tell. More players may be on the way ;) .
