He won't do anything this time around, but if this were to cause him some undue embarassment or impact him in a way that affects him financially, you can bet he'd drop Ron to keep his remaining meal ticket (other players under him or he may pursue later) intact. Artest isn't the only player in the NBA afterall.

 

Artest likes LA life style! Since the rockets' season was over, he has been in LA. I remember he wanted to promote his CD and thus didn't want to play regular season games when he was a pacer. Artest's world is not just the bball.

 

Unless RocketsBlood is Artest himself, then this was leaked by someone close to Ron. I know we all want inside info, but am I the only one who is disturbed by this? Its pretty sad that these athletes and celebrities have ZERO PRIVACY. I understand when they are out in public, but when they are in private and a "friend" will shoot video and post it on the internet...

Did you miss the "TRUWARIER TV" watermark on the top of the video, or the "TRUWARIER TV - EPISODE 1" title at the beginning? It's pretty obvious that Ron put this out there himself. He even tells the stranger that he's recording for his blog.

Ron is one guy that brings the lack of privacy to himself.

 

I did miss that -- pretty obvious when I went back to view a second time. Can't get used to this facebook/twitter/instant media age

 

I didn't hear the part about his agent said about the rockets.
I like Milsap he's a beast.

 

Guys, lets move on and wish Artest all the best. He gave it all for the Rockets when He was here and now He is a or going to be a Laker. Lets just be thankful for what He has done and concentrate on Trevor now.

Did ya'll hear the agent say "word on the street regarding Ariza". The going rate was about 42 million for 5 years.

That's why after he signed with the Rockets we heard about him leaving 9 million on the table sheet with another team. But, I though I heard that Portland was trying to get Ariza.

Well, Ariza said he picked Houston because of respect. It's good to hear it's not always about going for the money.

 

I thought they were talking about Detroit when they said Milsap Ariza etc? He was talking about Morey.

I need to listen again.

I'd have to listen again, but I thought he said something like "35 to 42 million...total...over 5 or 6 years". That would be pretty close to what he's going to get with us so I don't read anything in to that.

The CF fans here that are hating on Ton leaving, aren't actually hating on him. They are hating on the fact that it was the Lakers who got him. I guarantee you that everyone where would wish him the best if he signed with the Cavs.
