Congrats to Alan Zinter. After 14 years in the minors and Japan, he gets his first big league callup. He'll be the emergency catcher, allowing Zaun to pinch-hit on days when Ausmus starts. Adam Everett's yo-yo of a season continues, as he & Keith Ginter were optioned to AAA to make room for Zinter & Linebrink, who was activated from the DL. Hopefully Linebrink can regain the form he showed prior to his injury, and Zinter (and Zaun) can provide some late-inning pop off the bench.
