He has slowed down considerably from his heyday, although he could still help them out even with Shaq being around.

Marion being there means LBJ doesn't have to get burnt out guarding opposing teams scoring wing player like he had to in the Orlando series. The only thing is that Cavs will be unwillingly to give Marion a long contract, in case they bomb in the playoffs again and LBJ bolts.
Because Cleveland organization is r****ded. They will go after anyone. They will go after washed up players and thinking that they are contenders. Sure they made a big roar this season by leading the league with the best record. Lebron got his MVp and Mo Williams cried his way into the All Star team.
Cavs need a true PG thats all. Dump all the combo guards and trade Mo Williams in an SNT for Mike Bibby he is the perfect playmaking PG to take away load from Lebron. Instead of playing ballhandler, Lebron can now focus on getting the ball on the move and driving to the basket. Cavs play too much 1 on 5 with iso for Lebron.
Marion probably doesn't want to go there either. I think Lebron is part of the reason, both him and Shaq might not even be there past 2010. So I agree, why sign a multi-year deal with them?
If Marion isn't getting any offers to his liking, he can accept a 2 year deal with the Cavs with the 2nd being a player option and make run for a title with Shaq and LBJ thereby inflating his value in the process. Then if the Cavs don't win the title and LBJ bolts Marion can opt out.
Have you been to Cleveland ? It is a ****hole one of the ugliest cities in the US. Not many people flying to Cleveland for vacation these days.....
artest wanted to be in LA before the playoffs even ended so that doesn't count. villanueva wanted the most money. sheed doesn't like the cavs that much cause of history. the only person who really didn't want to play there was ariza and that's because he wouldn't start there and the fact that lebron resigning in 2010 is uncertain. so really it lies on lebron's future not being certain.. not the city, don't talk **** about other cities you've never even been to idiot, I've actually been there and it was just fine..
btw seriously those videos were made as a joke and you guys are quoting it as a source about a city you've never been to is pretty dumb, the guy who made it was a native of cleveland and shot the videos when the skies were grey and one of the main roads were closed. it's not an amazing city or something, but it's definitely fine ive been there many times. it all lies on lebron possibly not resigning, why are you guys hating on a city for no reason I don't know.
Its not the city, its the team. That team is going to be garbage after LeBron leaves next year. If someone signs there for a multi-year deal, it will only be for the $$$.
this, this is why. detroit is far off worse and yet they were such a strong team before, it has nothing to do with the city.
