Yao's foot has a high arch. High arches in heavy mean yields foot problems.

Yao has foot problems. Yao's high arch relative to his size is the cause of his foot problems.

Thus, Yao's foot is injury prone.

But yes, you ignore these medical facts and continue your esoteric arguments about how the NBA is against Yao. FIGHT THE POWER!

You should mail this in a letter, and send it to all 29 GMs in the league. Maybe they will believe you and trade for him.

It's all about the results. You can spin things however you want but regardless of the reasons, he has been injured a lot over the past few seasons. Everything else are "what if" scenarios.

    This forum is great!

First, TMac is a closer ... now Yao isn't injury prone. What next? Brooks is a world class heavyweight weightlifter??

We absolutely agree. There is no way on this planet there could be anything genetically abnormal with Yao.

I think all options need to be tried and I have a doctor in the area I use and has treated Lance Armstrong that has told me she can heal Yao and he would not need surgery. She is in the local area and if anyone can pass her on to the Rockets and have Yao try it, then I think he could go the therapy route and be back. These things entail Laser Accupuncture, ways of taping the ankle with special type of tape used in the Olympics for healing, and orthodics. I have spine problems myself and she has helped me live and cope with these things. We all remember McGrady had his own special doctor a few years ago and helped him with his back. If anyone hear is connected with the Rockets reply back and I will gladly give the doctor contact information. I think in the position the Rockets are in now with Yao that all things should be explored. The organization doctors don't own these athletes, but like to make it difficult. I would say investing a few months in this to see how it goes, especially since he is not having pain should be tried. Surgery will pretty much make things worse possibly. With the financial commitment involved next year with extension, we need to know now, and also do everything we can to save this season. I feel like everyone is giving up around here, and it really hurts, especially from this organization that has the creed of "Believe It" and Heart of a Champion. Let me know on here who I can get this info to that can get it to Yao. I would be glad to assist in anyway to make this happen.

It depends on what your definition of "is" is.

I'm trying to get in touch with the Rockets. It is hard to know where to send as I know my doctor can get Yao on the court for this season. She has treated Lance Armstrong and many athletes. She did wonders for my son who is a pitcher and helped him play through injury, in fact fired a no hitter after extensive treatment with an injury, she had one wonders for me. It is worth a shot. Anyone know how I can get this info to the Rockets. I emailed some generic emails to NBA office, since they know the global icon Yao is and also some generic player fan email. If anyone has the ear, let me know what to do. I am not giving up on this season and none of us should.

Hey are franchise has become desperate, so I know it sounds goofy, but what is there to lose by trying. They can always say screw it and stop seeing her. I feel this as credible as anything else. And after hearing Dr. First talk, surgery is no guarantee, but in this case the only possible option. I think it would be wise to try this, if he is out the whole season, what can it hurt to try it and see if any progress can be made. I emailed John and Lance at 1560 so maybe they can get the info Deep Blue (DM).

heavy minutes is bs. if you go by the minutes, yao didn't play more minutes than shaq or most all star level players except maybe nash, and i already counted his national team games. the competition thing is even more bs. everyone in the nba faces the same competition.your argument is basically because yao's 7'5, so he gets a free pass for everything...this's like saying i'm not not great at basketball i'm just not 6'6. that's r****ded.
