I mean can anyone blame the guy?

Ron was brought here for 3 reasons - To play with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady and to help win a title.

Now that both said superstars are gone along with any hope for a trophy, why would the Rockets give him a contract that he is not worth and why would he want to stay on a team thats probably going to the lottery?

I think no fans will blame artest.
He is doing good last year.
But rockets also cannot afford a long contract for him if really can sign gortat.
Hope he can have success in other team.

I'm not, I have a feeling that if we let him go we'll be lacking this kind of player in 2010. Besides, who else would you sign this year? Additionally, why would Morey be stupid enough to sign and trade him for a joker like Verajao or however you spell his name? I say we keep him, we'll have the cap space to be in contention soon. I would offer the man about 9 million per for 4 years.
