Ever heard of LaRue Martin? 1972's #1 pick? They all thought he was better than Bill Walton. LOLOLOLOLOL

I think Rip would be awesome in our offense.

Would you do a SnT Ron for Rip?

So are the Pistons. With the power in the East shifting even more in the direction of Cleveland, Orlando and Boston.

I think the interesting thing is if they are able to sign both Gordon and Hedo then Rip definilty becomes expendable.

In this scenario we are still not rebuilding. We are building the team hoping that Yao comes back either at the end of the season or in 2010-11. If its a bust and Yao's career is over than we have his expiring contract in 2011 and a pretty decent core of young players to build around. Anyway I think this has to be seriously considered if the offer is made.

I like the idea, but I don't think Detroit is willing to do it.

Iverson and TMac on the same team? Not happening!

Yes,he is. The Pistons are unlikely to bring him back.

    Unlikely is quite the understatement.

Like I posted a few days ago, I was listening to Todd wright on sporting news.
He swears he knows someone in the pistons front office that told him Dumars wants Mac and his contract badly. He was almost certain that a deal would get done. So I could see it happening. It would give Detroit a chance in 2010 to sign a big name free agent, and have a quick turn aronund

It's about having Macs expiring contract. They want to be players in the free agency market next year
