If he pays us, would it reduce our cap accordingly? If not, I'm not interested. ;)

Ha ha, he'd poison the team and we'd improve our lottery position.

    Sure, why not. :)

I'd sign Iverson, and then try to trade him off to another team for good stuff.

What's stopping the other teams in signing AI themselves and cut out the middle man? Oh yeah, they don't want him either.

If any player ever didn't fit into Rick Adelman's system, it's Allen Iverson...

Then again, is there any coaches system that Iverson fits into...?

Nellie seems to like running, chucking, no defense, all guards type of offense.

It's early in the off-season....but we've found a strong front-runner for the worst idea of the 2009 NBA Summer.

We may as well extend McGrady.

no way!!! the guy is just out there for himself, he would ruin everything about our hardworking defensive team.

No because he's not a team player. Also he's cursed

Denver Nuggets were much better without them after the trade
Pistons got worst when they got him

Well, seems like the response is overwhelmingly negative for you.

Just like Iverson's ability to help a real team at this point in his career.

Don't forget to rate those threads folks.

Nellie also likes sweet shooting guards who run, chuck and play no defense. Iverson doesn't have a jumper, so he doesn't fit Nellie's style either. Maybe Larry Brown's system, since he doesn't run an offense Iverson is better than nothing

Not only would he kill our chemistry (what little we have left probably), but we couldn't get him for that cheap.

Look at how badly Detroit got screwed

A very conditional 'Yes.' Hopefully he's old enough at this point to not need to be the focus of the team. Detroit was a bad fit, and Dumars only brought him in for cap relief.

If he could come in on the cheap, accepting a reduced role, then by all means put him on this roster. He's still a special talent and competitor, and he could come in for those minutes where no one can put a score on the board. You know, those times where other teams make huge runs on us, either building a lead or eating away ours, when we can't buy a shot.
